Los Angeles Pictures

These are some of pictures taken by Martin Liebscher of UFOs over Los Angeles, and published in his book "If you lived here, you´d be home by now". Pictures with a red border can be clicked upon to open a larger version of that picture.

Photos 7,8 and 9 were taken on November 20th 1987 from the front of Liebschers house. Photo number 7 (top) has been the subject of much comment. It seems that the ceder tree partially obscures some of the UFO, and this has been used to rule out a double exposure. But looking at the enlargement it is difficult to tell if this is really the case. The bright part of the UFO is not obscured and in fact looks as if it may overlap the tree, and the dull part of the UFO could simply be lost against the dark tree. Experts however seem to agree that the tree is in the way, and this would make fakery very difficult. Photo 8 was taken a few seconds after number 7 as the UFO moved across the sky and a few seconds after that photo 9 was taken. Of the three photo 9 seems to show the craft in the most detail. At the bottom of these is a daylight shot of the scene. There is also a photo number 6 in this sequence but I have not included it here because it is almost identical to photo 9.

Thinking that it must have landed Liebscher ran towards it when it rose up had hovered just above the ground, then he took photo 14.
